Who We Are

Common Ground Recovery Ministries is a ministry of First Christian Church that offers a space for fellowship, worship, and peer adult support groups. 

 

We currently have 4 groups that meet regularly:

• Anger Management

• Substance Abuse

• Women’s C.A.R.E.

• Parenting

 

We partner with various community organizations and social services to provide much needed care for those seeking hope, change, and wholeness. We are blessed to have dedicated group leaders who have either completed the program itself or are trained to facilitate their particular group.

 

Each Sunday, starting at 5:14 pm, there is a spirit of resiliency that echoes through the halls of First Christian Church. It is a spirit that reminds us that though we may be imperfect, though we may struggle, though we may have doubts, transgressions, and weaknesses, we worship a God who has promised to walk with us, to redeem us, and to love us unconditionally.
